Privacy notice

This notice explains which personal data scfim.ch processes when you visit the site or contact us, and for what purpose. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

1. Controller

Prof. Raphaël Bonvin, c/o Medical Education Unit, University of Fribourg, Route des Arsenaux 41, 1700 Fribourg, Switzerland — reachable via our contact form

2. Visiting the site

When you visit scfim.ch, the hosting provider automatically records technical data in server logs: IP address, date and time of access, pages requested, browser type and the referring page. These logs serve the security and stability of the site, are not combined with other data to identify you, and are deleted after a short period. The site uses no analytics or advertising tools and sets no tracking cookies; only technically necessary cookies are used, for instance to remember your language choice. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; when a page loads, your browser transmits your IP address to Google LLC (USA) for that purpose.

3. Contact form

If you write to us through the contact form, we process the data you enter — name, e-mail address, subject and message — solely to answer your request. Your message is sent by e-mail to the person responsible and kept only as long as needed to deal with it. Sending the form requires your consent, which you may withdraw at any time via the same form. Registration for our programmes takes place on the programme websites, which have their own privacy notices.

4. Disclosure and hosting

We do not pass personal data on to third parties. The website and the data from the contact form are hosted by Infomaniak Network SA on servers located in Switzerland.

5. Your rights

You have the right to be informed about the personal data we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. To exercise these rights, write to us via our contact form, choosing the subject «Other».

6. Changes

We may amend this notice at any time; the version published on this site is the one that applies. Last updated: September 2026.
